James V. Spignesi, Jr.
Every once in a while, if you’re ever so lucky, you encounter a human being that is so truly “good”, right down to their very core, that they make you want to be a better person. They bring out the best in you, the best of every situation, and the best of this wild ride we're all on together, called "life".
Well, to those of use who were lucky enough to know him, that was Jim.
Jim had an infectious sense of humor. There is no telling how many stories have started with a burst of laughter and then followed with, "I remember this one time, Jim..."
In as many funny stories as there are that start with a laugh, there are just as many that start with watery eyes and a clearing of the throat, trying desperately to hold back tears. A choked up voice then follows, "I remember this one time, Jim...”
Son to James V. Spignesi, Sr. and Catherine "Kit" (Flanagan) Spignesi, Jim was born into a humble, hardworking household and remained that way his entire life. The fourth child of five, he was an amazing brother and son - independent and thrill seeking, while still deeply loyal and devoted to his family.
A son, brother, uncle and friend, he was cherished by all that knew him and never failed to put a smile on your face.
